Privacy Policy

Wiew exists to give households honest information about property. We hold ourselves to the same standard with your information: we collect only what the product needs, we never sell your personal data, and no revenue line of ours depends on selling your attention or your details.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, and sign-in credentials when you create an account.
• Information you add to use features: for example, financial inputs you enter to calculate affordability or borrowing power, properties you save or link to your account, and preferences you set. These stay private to your account unless you explicitly share them.
• Content you create: messages, job posts, quotes, reviews, and (for professionals) profiles, business cards, campaigns and articles.

2. Property information from public records

Wiew displays information about properties, including values, sales history, assessments, zoning, environmental constraints, modeled rent, derived from public records and our own analysis of them. This is information about properties, not information you provided. Estimates are always shown as ranges with their source and as-of date.

3. How we use information

• To provide the product: property analysis, scores you request, saved places, the marketplace, and communication between you and professionals you choose to contact.
• To operate paid features for professional accounts (subscriptions, campaigns), billed through the app store.
• To keep the service safe, debug it, and improve it.
• To respond when you contact support.

4. What we share, and what we never do

• We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with data brokers. We do not sell leads.
• Professionals only see what you deliberately send them (a job post, a message, a shared report).
• Service providers that help us run the product (hosting, analytics, app-store billing) process data under contract, only for our instructions. [LIST the actual providers of the shipped build.]
• We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect users and the service.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app [CONFIRM path: Settings → Account → Delete account] or via wiewapp.com/delete-account.html. Deletion is processed within 30 days; aggregate or anonymised data, and records we are legally required to keep, may be retained.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting you occurs, we will notify you as required by law.

7. Children

Wiew is intended for adults (18+). It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your information at any time from the app or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights [CONFIRM state-specific disclosures with counsel, e.g., California, Colorado, Connecticut].

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
