wiewWHERE INFORMATION EQUALS WINS
Work at Wiew
How we work, what we are building, and how to reach us if you want to help build it.
Wiew is building the winning view into property transactions: a single lens that follows a home through buying, owning, improving, renting and selling, with every number sourced and dated. We are early, small, and deliberate about who joins.
How we work
- Honesty is the product. We would rather show a range than a false decimal, and rather say “we do not know that yet” than fill a screen with confident nonsense. If that instinct is not yours, you will find us frustrating.
- Depth over breadth. We went parcel-deep in one state before going shallow across fifty.
- Small surface, high craft. Few people, real ownership, visible impact on what ships.
Where we are useful to talent
We do not keep a standing list of open roles. When we hire, it tends to be in these areas:
- Data engineering, at the scale of tens of millions of property records, geospatial data and messy public-record ingestion.
- Mobile engineering, iOS and Android, for a product where map and analysis performance are the experience.
- Modelling and analytics, valuation, rent and risk, with calibration and uncertainty treated as first-class.
- Design, turning genuinely complex information into something a household can act on in seconds.
- Growth and partnerships, including working directly with municipalities and professional communities.
How to reach us
Write to support@wiewapp.com with the subject “Careers”. Tell us what you have built, and what you would want to build here. Links beat CVs. Speculative notes from exceptional people are welcome, and read.
We consider every applicant on merit. Wiew does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
A note on what you would be joining
The interesting problem here is not the app. It is that the most consequential financial decision most households ever make is still taken with less information than a small share purchase, and that the people with the most at stake are usually the least informed in the room. If that gap bothers you as much as it bothers us, we should talk.
